Isabelle Spiegel appointed Vinci’s global head of environment

Vinci has appointed a senior environment executive from Arcadis to lead its worldwide sustainability efforts.

Isabelle Spiegel has over 20 years’ experience in environmental consultancy and operational management (Vinci)

Isabelle Spiegel will be responsible for implementing Vinci’s new environmental goals, and will report to executive vice-president Pierre Coppey.

She has over 20 years’ experience in environmental consultancy and operational management.

Vinci said that “taking into account the environment is essential at each project stage and throughout the life cycle of each structure”.

In 2015, Spiegel joined Arcadis to lead environment activities in France and later took charge of developing new sustainability services in Europe and the Middle East.

She previously provided sustainability consultancy for PricewaterhouseCoopers for almost 15 years.

She is a graduate of the Ecole nationale supérieure des Mines de Douai engineering school and of the Technische Universität Berlin, and began her career at the Boulogne-sur-Mer Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
