Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has agreed to provide a loan of $29.9m to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for the construction of a road to neighbouring Mali.

The agreement was signed by acting director general of ADFD, Mohammad Saif Al Suwaidi, and Mauritania’s minister of economic affairs and development, Sedi Weld Babha Weld Altah.
