Bjarke Ingels and WeWork design New York school

Danish architect Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and American workspace provider WeWork have collaborated on a school in New York called " WeGrow".

Described as a "learning landscape" by BIG, the development contains four classrooms, an art studio, music room, workshops and community space.

WeGrow will also include the brain puzzle, an all-felt lounge that can be taken apart and rebuilt, and secluded reading hives that form a library.

Located at WeWork’s Manhattan HQ, BIG says the school "encourages collaboration by emphasising transparent and communal spaces".

WeGrow is open now.
