Canada’s SNC-Lavalin to establish “UK hub” in London

Following its acquisition of WS Atkins in July last year, Canadian engineer and contractor SNC-Lavalin has decided to set up a new UK headquarters in Victoria, London, to coordinate UK business growth.

It has signed a long-term agreement with developer Landsec for a new "UK hub" at the Nova North Building in Victoria (pictured), and will move from its current offices in Euston Tower in the first quarter of 2019.

The move will allow SNC-Lavalin to bring together more than 1,000 people from its Atkins, Faithful+Gould and Acuity businesses into one office.

"The decision to invest in a new UK hub in London is a positive statement from SNC-Lavalin about the significance of the UK to the company’s future aspirations," said Nick Roberts, President of Atkins.

Nova, Victoria contains office space, contemporary apartments and Nova Food – a collection of 17 restaurants.
