A road at home and a new HQ for a chemicals giant in Scotland were among the project wins for Dutch contractor Royal BAM Group as November drew to a close.
On home soil, the Municipality of The Hague awarded BAM a $320m contract for the design, construction and maintenance during 15 years of the road project, Rotterdamsebaan.

The new 4km road will link the motorway at the Ypenburg interchange of the A4/A13 and The Hague’s so-called Central Zone.
BAM will work with Infra and BAM’s German tunnel specialist Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau in a joint venture.
Construction will start in mid-2016 and the road is due to open in the spring of 2020.
In Scotland BAM has been named preferred bidder by chemical giant INEOS for its new headquarters (pictured) in Grangemouth.
The project is part of INEOS’ ongoing development of its 1,700 acre site.
The $26m building, designed by Michael Laird Partnership, will have four storeys comprising 6,863 sq m.

Work has already started on site and is scheduled for completion in the final quarter of 2016.
