Consultancy Turner & Townsend has won a contract from the Abu Dhabi Airports Company to deliver cost estimating services and scheduling and risk management for the capital expansion programme of Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The programme involves the construction of a new terminal, the Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC), and the redevelopment of existing terminal facilities and services to support the airport.
Expansion of the airport will include construction for the MidfielD Terminal Complex (Abu Dhabi Airports Company)
The appointment follows work on a number of major infrastructure projects in the Middle East for Turner & Townsend, including Dubai and Oman airports, as well as international aviation briefs such as London Heathrow and Brisbane Airport.
Construction has commenced, with completion scheduled for 2017.
