UK’s Mace wins $1.5bn Russian residential project

London Olympics delivery veteran Mace has won a $1.5-billion-plus project for a major residential development in St Petersburg, Russia.

The British international construction and consulting company was appointed delivery partner to client and specialist company, SPb Renovation, and will design and construct over 780,000m2 of residential space for the Gutenborg project.

The housing project will create 15,600 apartments, three schools, five kindergartens, and a polyclinic as well as road and utilities infrastructure for 25,000 people.

The Gutenborg project is Mace’s third commission by SPb Renovation since 2012.
