"Business leaders in Africa have been focused on the leisure and culture market in recent years and now this type of investment will begin to show the benefits of that attention to cities like Harare," said Aecom’s Neels Heunis, head of leisure and culture, Africa.

Aecom recently announced wins for two new planned Radisson Hotels in African states Benin and Guinea.

For the Harare project, a ground-breaking ceremony is planned for October 2013 and the project is expected to be completed during 2016.
