Aecom has been awarded a five-year contract to provide programme and construction management services at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
The $100m contract covers a variety of potential projects, including airfield improvements, building projects and landside improvements.
The scope of services includes programme, project, design and construction management, contract administration, programme and project controls, public outreach and technical, third-party support.
The firm has served as a consultant to DFW for more than 30 years, beginning with the airport’s first development plan in the 1980s.
The company is currently leading a joint venture team responsible for the design and design management of a $2.7bn renovation at the airport.
Michael Burke, Aecom’s chairman, said: "We are very proud of our long history of working with the airport and being a part of their most important and iconic programmes.
"The confidence shown by DFW in selecting Aecom as their partner for the next five years reflects the collaborative relationship we’ve worked hard to build together and Aecom’s in-house strengths in aviation architecture and engineering."
DFW is the fourth busiest airport in the US, serving more than 64 million passengers annually.
