BAM to build 110m-high office tower in Frankfurt

BAM Deutschland has acquired a contract for the construction of a $400m, 110m-high office tower in Frankfurt from project developer DIC Group.

The 63,600 square metre Riverside Tower WINX was designed by local firm KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten.

When complete in autumn 2017 it will have 30 floors and one portal building with a gateway in the middle. This portal contains seven above-ground floors.

WINX is a landmark right by the river Main in the centre of Frankfurt’s banking district. The ground floor and part of the first floor will be a restaurant.

The entire complex includes three underground floors, which offer space for technical rooms, a TV studio, server rooms and more than 175 parking spaces and spaces for bicycles.

Visitors can enjoy a unique panoramic view over Frankfurt from the sky lounge.

During construction, BAM Deutschland will pay special attention to the use of sustainable energy concepts, and plans to achieve a DGNB "Gold" standard.

BAM has recently been chosen to replace Heysel ground in Brussels with Belgium’s national "Eurostadium".
