Carillion bags contract for Oman’s Wave Hotel

Carillion Alawi has been awarded a contract worth $148.7m to build the Kempinski Wave Hotel in Muscat, Oman.

The Oman Hospitality Company awarded the 24-month contract, which is to start this month.

Kempinski Hotels will operate the 40,000 square meter beach front resort, which will include a 309-room 5-star hotel and 77 hotel apartments.

Carillion Alawi has previously delivered projects worth $121m for The Wave, Muscat, a mixed use community development including properties, retail and dining facilities, a golf course and private yacht club.
