International contractor CIMIC Group has launched a mining equipment hire business called FleetCo.
The subsidiary is said to offer "the dual benefit of a new service and an established, proven team".
FleetCo’s range of services includes flexible equipment contracts and tailored maintenance support.
FleetCo is said to have an "extensive mining fleet" and can "offer competitive rates, quality equipment, reliable supply and industry-leading maintenance support".
Marcelino Fernández Verdes, CIMIC’s executive chairman, said: "FleetCo uses existing business resources to provide a new and flexible service to clients that is well suited to today’s market."
Bernie Fahey, FleetCo’s general manager, said: "The extent and diversity of the equipment, and our flexible packages, support excellent scalability for operations of all sizes, from short to long-term contracts."
