A subsidiary of Drake & Scull International has won a mechanical, electrical and plumbing contract worth approximately $109m for the Mall of Qatar project.
Drake & Scull Qatar will execute the installation of all electromechanical works on the three-storey mall, which will be located in the Al Rayyan district of Qatar.

Once complete the mall will feature a hypermarket, a multiplex, five department stores, restaurants and parking for 7,000 cars. The mall will also have its own metro station.
The firm is scheduled to start works on site in the first quarter of 2014 and completion is expected in June 2015.
