ATT’s rendering of the completed project
The footage shows how the Lake Garda path will cantilever from the edge of cliffs, creating the illusion of riding through the air. Â
The project is being undertaken by ATT of Salò, and is being funded by a group of regional councils, including Veneto, Lombardy and Trento – who expect to recoup their investment rapidly from increased tourism.
Currently, it is possible to ride a short stretch from Torbole to Riva del Garda at the northern end of the lake. The scheme is due to be completed in 2021.
