Indian developer Sobha Realty will build a six-tower mixed-used development on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road containing 1,225 apartments, 15,000 sq m of retail, a 2.3ha park, and 16,300 sq m of office space, Gulf Business reports.
The towers at “Sobha Central” will be linked by an elevated path giving access to a gym, theatre, clubhouse, mall, restaurants, supermarkets and a Grand Hall. Out of doors, the project will have landscaped terraces, infinity pools and private courtyards in the central park.
Ravi Menon, chairman of Sobha Group, said the towers were “a bold expression of our vision to shape the future of urban living in Dubai”.
He called Sheikh Zayed Road “the most powerful corridor of the Middle East”, and said the scheme would “go beyond architecture to create a self-sustained high-living community”.
The first tower, called “Horizon”, is due to be finished in December 2029.
Sobha Realty’s flagship Dubai development, Sobha Hartland, now has around 11,000 residents.
Another new launch in UAE is Sobha Siniya in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain, the developer’s first artificial island.
