Jacobs has won another contract to provide planning and advisory services to Ireland’s National Transport Authority (NTA).

The company will advise on urban and local transport development plans, and general town planning matters.

The NTA estimates the new contract duration to be three to four years.

“We’re harnessing our strategic advisory and digital capabilities to drive innovation and help clients like the NTA create intelligent, responsive and efficient transportation systems tailored to users’ needs,” said Jacobs Senior Vice President Kate Kenny.

Jacobs has more than 1,200 employees in Ireland.

Projects include the NTA’s BusConnects Dublin and BusConnects Cork programmes, bus service planning across the country, and Cork County Council’s M28 Motorway project.
