US engineer Jacobs has won a contract to build a car rental building and a transport link to the main terminal at Denver International Airport.
The project will consolidate all rental car operations into a single facility, freeing up space and reducing the number of shuttle buses used.
One of the world’s fastest-growing airports, Denver International is expected to be handling 120 million passengers a year by 2045.
Jacobs has worked on projects at the airport since 1992.
Eva Wood, Jacobs’ executive vice president, said: “As an economic engine for Colorado, Denver International Airport drives significant growth and development across the state.
“Continuing our legacy of supporting the airport since its inception, Jacobs is dedicated to fuelling this next chapter of their growth.”
