Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (JLL) has appointed Walid Goudiard to the role of Head of Project & Development Services, EMEA.

Having joined the business in 2006, he has helped grow the business in France, Benelux and Northern Europe.

JLL said he had “a strong track record of leading complex projects and repositioning real estate assets” and would help regenerate the built environment “in a sustainable and responsible manner”.

“As companies plan to future-proof their real estate, a reassessment needs to take place of the emerging drivers of value within assets and portfolios. Investors, landlords and owner occupiers alike will have to pay greater attention to the fast-evolving future of work, shifting consumer trends and an evolving urban ecosystem focused on achieving net zero carbon emissions,” said Mark Caskey, EMEA Work Dynamics CEO, JLL.

Speaking of his new role, Goudiard said: “Now more than ever there is a chance and a need to reimagine the plan, design and fit-out of built environments to ensure they are human, innovative, and resilient.”
