Mace hires David Haywood for leadership role in Canada and the Americas

UK headquartered consultancy Mace Consult has appointed David Haywood as business unit director for Canada and commercial director for the Americas.

He joins from Stantec, where he was North America programme management business leader responsible for growth and operations. He has previously worked at MWH Global, Aecom, and Arcadis.

Over more than three decades he has led a number of large capital infrastructure schemes ranging in value from $1bn to $20bn.

His experience includes work on the Kennedy Expressway reconstruction project in Chicago and the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority Hurricane Maria reconstruction programme.

Recent work wins for Mace in the Americas includes a second delivery partner contract with Metrolinx through the Mace-Comtech-Systra (MCS) consortium.
