France’s Eiffage wins Polish shopping centre contract

French construction company Eiffage has signed a $192m contract to build one of Europe’s largest shopping centres, in Poland.

Total investment in the centre in Poznan is $398m.

Lacina will have a gross leasable area of approximately 100,000 sq m and will accommodate 300 shops and 3,300 parking places.

Construction will be carried out by Eiffage subsidiary Eiffage Polska Budownictwo over 26 months.

Work is scheduled for completion in 2016.
