Nigerian QS leader calls for procurement transparency

The president of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors has called for more transparent procurement to reduce corruption.

Alufohai Agele told a recent economic roundtable organized by Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria that new laws should make it more difficult to perpetuate fraud in public procurement.

He said draft legislation on housing dormant for some time in the National Assembly should be passed.
