Perkins & Will opens Philadelphia office

The Perkins & Will designed 38 Chestnut in Philadelphia
Chicago-headquartered architect Perkins & Will has opened an office in Philadelphia, its 23rd in North America.

The branch will serve the Northeastern US, with clients based in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey.

The studio will be led by regional managing director Bill Harris, New York managing director Robert Clemens, and health practice leader Laura Morris.

The Philadelphia team will work with other local regional practises in New York, Boston and Washington, D.C.

In Philadelphia, Perkins & Will has recently worked on multiple life sciences projects as well as educational facilities.

Bill Harris said: “We’re thrilled to officially launch our Philadelphia practice, joining many of the nation’s leading businesses, medical centres, and higher-education institutions.

“We already have deep ties to this incredible city, with substantive work already complete, and a slate of significant new projects underway.”
