UK-based Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has been appointed to provide surveying services for the Fortune Jin Mao City complex in China.
RLB will provide pre and post contract quantity surveying services for the $425m mixed use development in Lanzhou City aimed at encouraging local and foreign people to live and invest in the city.
The Fortune Jin Mao City complex will be completed in 2017
It is the first time that Lanzhou City has hired an international quantity surveyor to provide a full range of cost consulting services based on international standards.
The 423,000 square metre complex will feature a 51-storey office building, a 31-storey office building and a podium configured as a shopping centre with other amenities.
The project is scheduled for completion in 2017.
