Skanska has been awarded a $74.6m contract to expand a thermal power plant for an unnamed client in Brazil.
Skanska will be responsible for the procurement, construction of the facilities, including civil works, electromechanical installations and commissioning.
Work is scheduled to start immediately and to complete in the second quarter of 2014, Skanska said.
Financial details were not disclosed.
