Turner & Townsend Thinc has been chosen to project manage the redevelopment of the Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
The US$260m contract will increase the mall’s size by 25,000 square metres, with room for approximately 570 stores when work is completed.
The redevelopment will create a new entertainment precinct including a new cinema complex with 13 screens and a revitalised west mall.
James Coffey, Turner & Townsend Thinc director said: "Billions of dollars are being spent on major shopping centre redevelopment projects across Melbourne.
