With India projected by some to be the second-fastest growing economy in the world in 2022, UK-headquartered project logistics company Trans Global Projects Group (TGP), has established a company there.

TGP has been active in India for 30 years, but set up TGP Projects India in Mumbai in July to stay ahead of growing demand, the company said in a press note to GCR.

TGP chief executive Colin Charnock said TGP Projects India would offer project logistics management for projects in the oil and gas, power and renewables, and construction sectors.

It will be overseen by the co-managing directors Manoj Mehra and Girish Pandey (pictured). Mehra brings 35 years of experience in international shipping, transport and project cargo handling for a range of industries. Pandey has over 30 years of transport industry experience in India and abroad.

According to TGP, experts predict India will be the world’s second-fastest growing major economy in fiscal year 2022, behind only China.

“India’s exports are expected to continue to expand, and we are very pleased to work with our colleagues in Mumbai to keep TGP ahead of customer demand in this growing market,” Charnock said.

TGP has offices on six continents. Subsidiaries include Natco Switzerland and Natco Germany.
