Webber wins three Texas road jobs worth $265m

The Texas Department of Transportation has picked Ferrovial subsidiary Webber for three road contracts in Texas worth a combined $265m.

One is to expand 5.6 miles of the SL 335 in Amarillo, and build new frontage road, for $134m. Work starts in June and is expected to finish in late 2026.

It will also widen 6.5 miles of the SH 99 in Houston from West Park Tollway to IH-10 in Katy for $90m. Completion is expected in mid-2025.

For the third project, Webber will broaden SL 378 in San Angelo, adding 2 miles of new centre lane, for $40m. Work starts in August and is set to finish by 2026.
