A 49-year-old man was hospitalised Monday after being pinned between two trucks at a construction site at Sqaq Habel Zwejra in Naxxar, in north eastern Malta.
Police were called at 7.30am local time to assist the worker from Zejtun, who suffered what they describe as “grievous injuries”.
An ambulance was called and the victim was taken to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment.
The Times of Malta describes the worker as being “crushed” at a construction site while one truck was moving.
A truck driver was injured after the initial incident while trying to move one of the vehicles.
Police are investigating.
