Atkins opens office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

UK engineering giant and SNC-Lavalin subsidiary Atkins has opened a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to support business growth in the country.

Located in Hamad Tower, King Fahd Road, Atkins’ says its new office will offer design, engineering and projects management services for projects across property, infrastructure, transportation, water and defence markets.

Atkins will also offer services from its subsidiaries Faithful+Gould, a project and programme management consultancy, and Acuity, an advisory business.

A team of "international, regional and local" employees will work at the office.

Atkins has previously worked on various projects in Saudi Arabia, including the Riyadh Metro, the Diriyah Gate development, and the Mall of Saudi.

Recently Atkins has won contracts in Wales, America and Oman, and has made plans to move into UK modular social housing.
