A merger between the asphalt businesses of Dutch construction firms Bam and Heijmans has been given the go-ahead by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
Announced in November 2019, the move will create a company with an estimated annual revenue of €90m.
Before granting permission for the merger, the ACM determined that the new company would not damage competition in the Helmond and Stein regions.
A press release from Bam says that further details of the new firm will be released shortly.
