Belgian marine contractor Deme says it has purchased a 50% stake in Germany’s Bauer Offshore Technologies for an undisclosed amount, with the option for a full acquisition within the next five years.
Bauer specialises in drilling services for the installation of foundations for offshore wind farms and is headquartered in Schrobenhausen, southern Germany.
The company will be integrated into Deme’s Offshore Energy arm, specialising in consulting and engineering services, tailored to the offshore sector.
