The CIOB Academy will offer courses in China through the “Learning Mall” run by Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University (XJTLU), a joint venture of its respective Chinese and UK schools.

The partnership was launched on 15 December after CIOB, the Learning Mall and the XJTLU Design School signed a memorandum of understanding to include CIOB’s learning resources on the Learning Mall’s platform.

The idea is to integrate online and offline course on topics such as planning and organising work, management, health and safety, sustainability, commercial and contractual issues to a broader range of learners.

Dr. Konstantinos Papadikis, Dean of XJTLU Design School, said the collaboration co-host academic conferences and co-develop teaching materials, so that students “can be helped to grow into global citizens with the international perspective, which is the quality called for a 21st century”.

The XJTLU Learning Mall acts as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurial research.
