Australian builder and developer Lendlease has announced that Yong Su-Lin will become its managing director in Malaysia, based in Kuala Lumpur.
Su-Lin has over 25 years of experience in real estate and corporate banking, and was most recently chief executive of Malaysian real estate investment company Sentral. She will take over from Stuart Mendel, who is returning to Australia after seven years in Southeast Asia.
Lendlease recently announced that Justin Gabbani will become its chief executive for Asia.
Gabbani said: “I would like to congratulate Su-Lin and welcome her to Lendlease. Malaysia is a key market for the Asia business and home to our largest integrated development – Exchange TRX. Su-Lin’s expertise and experience will add further perspective to the Asia leadership team.
“In collaboration with Dinesh Nambiar, who continues in his role as chairman of Lendlease Malaysia, I look forward to further advancing our growth strategy and to continue to deliver long-term sustainable value.”
