UK’s Keller to prepare ground for Singapore’s airport expansion

Keller Group plc, the UK-headquartered ground engineering specialist, has won a major contract at Changi Airport in Singapore.

The contract, valued at SGD56m (£28m) involves vibrocompaction of the ground to prepare for a major expansion. The company said mobilisation has already commenced.

The job is expected to be finished by mid-2016.

Justin Atkinson, Keller chief executive, said he was delighted to win "such a prestigious development".

"This contract award reflects both the Group’s excellent track record using vibrocompaction in Singapore and extensive experience in similar airport construction projects around the world, including previously at Changi," he said.
