Skanska USA has completed the $72m Coachman Park waterfront redevelopment in Clearwater, Florida.

Skanska provided construction management at risk services for the 24-acre park and entertainment venue. Stantec was the designer.

They created a shaded bluff walk that connects the park to downtown, gardens, a scenic lake, and recreational amenities.

“Coachman Park exemplifies how local governments can invest in transforming underutilised public spaces into active outdoor destinations that enhance their communities and serve as a catalyst for further economic growth,” said Chuck Jablon, a senior vice president for Skanska in Florida.

  1. I personally am sad to lose the old Coachmen Park that was so accessible. Alot of money for a concrete park. Clearwater planning is questionable. I feel money could have been better spent. Parking is a major issue. Really disappointed.
