Skanska wins €77m highway project in Czech Republic

Skanska has signed a contract with National Highway Authority of the Czech Republic to build a highway section in Staré MÄ›sto, eastern Czech Republic. The contract is worth €77m, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe for the third quarter 2021.

The 8.8km section between Staré MÄ›sto and Moravský Písek, including nine bridges and two multi-level crossings, will be financed by the European Regional Development Fund, OP Integrated Infrastructure 2014-2020 and the state budget.

The expected construction commencement date is August 2021 and the completion scheduled for the autumn 2024.
