Swedish builder Skanska has won two residential projects in Finland, one in Oulu worth €36 and one in Helsinki worth €26m.
In Oulu, central Finland, Skanska is building a 16-storey tower with 94 apartments.
The project will incorporate green features such as rooftop solar panels, electric vehicle charging points and year-round cycling facilities. The aim is to meet the requirements of Finland’s RTS environmental classification.
Work on the project began in August 2021 and it is due to completed during the third quarter of 2023.
In Helsinki, Skanska is building a 74 residence property. Construction started last month and is expected to end during the fourth quarter of 2023.
