Young professional sought to lead Net Zero workshop at COP26

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) today invites young construction professionals aged 18-35 to step forward to co-chair a special workshop during the COP26 conference in Glasgow this autumn alongside the UK construction minister.

Industry body the Construction Leadership Council has been successful in its bid to host the event at the COP26 Green Zone on 11 November to discuss the sector’s global role in achieving Net Zero by 2035, and seeks expressions of interest from young professionals able to speak about the barriers and opportunities they have experienced.

Also on the panel will be Andrew Griffith MP, the government’s Net Zero Business Champion.

Candidates are asked to send statement of no more than 250 words setting out out why they are applying, their relevant experience and what they would bring to the role to [email protected] by midday, Tuesday 28 September.
