A nine-company consortium has won a €2.5bn design-and-build contract for a section of Line 15 East of the Grand Paris Express between Bobigny-Pablo Picasso station and Champigny Centre.

The consortium includes: Architecturestudio, Ar.thème Associés, a BIG-Silvio d’Ascia Architecture collaboration, FBCC, Eiffage, LA/BA, Viguier, and Wilmotte & Associés.

They’ll build six new stations at Bobigny-Pablo Picasso, Pont de Bondy, Bondy, Rosny Bois-Perrier, Val de Fontenay, and Nogent-Le Perreux.

Work includes 17km of tunnels, 15 related rail structures, and two entrance structures, plus an operations centre in Rosny-sous-Bois.

Construction will start after a 15-month design period and is due to finish in 2031.

Eiffage said the consortium has committed to allocating 1.2 million working hours to social employment and 25% of project spending to small and medium-sized companies.
