US consultant Hill International has been chosen to oversee three residential and commercial projects in Egypt and the UAE.

The Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) selected the company to provide project management, construction management and site supervision services for its five-star Four Seasons hotel in Luxor, upper Egypt. It will accommodate tourists visiting the Valley of the Kings, and follows the construction of similar hotels in Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh and Alexandria.

The hotel and its annexes will be located beside the Nile on 21,400 sq m of land in Sultana Malak. When complete in 2025, the hotel will offer around 200 rooms and suites.

The project’s anticipated completion date is March 2025.

Waleed Abdel-Fatah, senior vice president of Hill’s Africa region, said: “We understand the importance of these projects in promoting the nation as a unique, high-end destination. TMG’s new Four Seasons project marks Hill’s entrance into the booming Luxor tourism sector and is sure to be a new gem for the area.”

Hill Chief Executive Officer Raouf Ghali added: “We are seeing tourism projects and programmes regain the momentum lost during the pandemic, and this Four Seasons demonstrates this trend. Given the attractions of the region, our company is confident Egypt will remain a leader in drawing international travellers to its sights and scenery.”

In the UAE, Hill was picked by Aldar Properties to provide project management support for two landmark projects in Abu Dhabi: phase one of the Grove Project and phase two of the Al-Reeman Residences and Reeman Living.

The Grove Project encompasses the Grove Heart, The Louvre Apartments and The Dunes Villas. These are located in Abu Dhabi City’s Saadiyat Cultural District, within easy reach of the Louvre, the Guggenheim, and Sheikh Zayed National Museum. Once complete, the Grove will be linked through its surrounding plazas to these museums.

There will also be a shopping mall, a leisure area, a town square and a cinema complex. When complete, phase one will have more than 440,000 sq m of residential and commercial space in the Grove Heart and Louvre Apartments. The expected completion date is December 2024.
