Mumbai-based contractor Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a $435m contract to expand India’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
L&T’s Buildings & Factories division was awarded the contract by facility owner Hyderabad International Airport.
Work on the project includes the expansion of the terminal and airside infrastructure to increase the airport’s capacity to 34 million passenger a year.
L&T has not given any specific dates for construction, but has said it would operate "within a stringent timeline".
