Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind Saudi Arabia’s tourism mega scheme, Amaala, has announced partnerships with two resort brands offering luxury “wellness” escapes.

Resort operator Jayasom plans a 153-room resort with 24 branded residences at Triple Bay on the Red Sea, designed to “immerse guests in a journey of personal transformation”.

And longevity clinic Clinique La Prairie will develop a 36,000-sq-m seaside resort with 13 villas and 52 rooms and suites, designed by visionary architect John Heah.

It will have a cooking school and diagnostics lab, with amenities built around a central “Longevity Plaza”.

The company said guests can expect “an inimitable journey of rejuvenation and self-discovery”.

“The resort’s subtle beauty – a product of Islamic architecture and modern craftmanship – will deliver a serene place in which to unwind, meditate and rejuvenate,” said RSG chief executive John Pagano.

The two resorts are part of the first development phase of Amaala, which expects to welcome its first guests next year.

On completion, Amaala will have around 3,000 hotel rooms and some 900 luxury residential villas, apartments, and estate homes.
