The Homantin development in Kowloon will become an "iconic landmark in the prestigious Homantin residential area", according to Gammon, and will include six residential towers, a clubhouse and an outdoor swimming pool

Gammon says that workers carrying out manual labour will use exoskeletons to reduce physical demands on their bodies and increase productivity. It will also use drones, infrared cameras and 3D scanning to detect a mistakes on site.

Thomas Ho, Gammon’s chief executive, said: "After the successful completion of the foundation works we are delighted to be trusted to deliver the full completed works for the Homantin residential project.

"The successful delivery of schemes such as the Mount Nicholson and the Le Cap residential development is testament to Gammon’s experience in the construction of high-end residential buildings which require excellent craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail."

Some 1,100 staff will be employed on the development at peak construction and full completion is due in 2020
