Plans have been announced for a 26,000-sq-m Pokémon attraction that will open in 2026 at the Yomiuriland theme park in Inagi, west Tokyo.
PokéPark Kanto will be the first permanent Pokémon themed amusement park, following temporary attractions in Nagoya and Taiwan in 2005 and 2006.

The park will have 600 varieties of Pokémon taking a physical form.
It will have a forest with paths, tunnels and rocky trails, and “Sedge Town”, which will house a central fountain, market, Pokémon gym and parade.
