Skanska has signed a contract worth US$1bn to build a data centre on the outskirts of Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
Skanska’s scope of work on the CRA Prague Gateway DC facility includes complete construction and non-IT technologies.
The initial phase involves site infrastructure, foundation structures and the load-bearing precast concrete skeleton of the building.
Work starts this month. Completion is scheduled for 2028.
