Skanska USA has partnered with the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) to create a taskforce focusing on decarbonisation and carbon reporting, with the aim of creating a standardised guidebook and resources for companies looking to reduce their carbon emissions.
The tools will allow them to calculate and report their carbon output, and set actionable goals.
The taskforce is part of AGC’s efforts to reduce construction’s environmental impact. Other members of the group are Clark, DPR, Ryan Companies, Granite, Kiewit, Mortenson and Turner.
