Skanska has won two US contracts worth a total of $293m.

The biggest is a $228m contract to build a data centre on behalf of an unnamed, previous client, which involves building data halls, electrical rooms, mechanical rooms, a loading dock, plus office and storage areas.

Skanska previously won a $39m contract for preliminary work at the same site. Construction began in the fourth quarter of 2025 and is due to be completed in 2027.

The second project is a $65m renovation job for a historic building at the University of Texas in Austin. Skanska didn’t identify the building.

Work is expected to begin in mid-2026 and be completed in 2028.
