SSH awarded Diyar Al Muharraq infrastructure works in Bahrain

Kuwait-based multidisciplinary consultancy SSH has been awarded the Secondary Infrastructure Works in Assets 13A, 23B and 24, on the north eastern coast of Muharraq Island, Bahrain, by Diyar al Muharraq.

The scope of services include design and supervision of roads, combined potable and firefighting, foul sewer, storm, treated sewage effluent, electrical, street lighting and telecommunications to three assets totaling over a million square metres in area.

Muharraq Island is a reclaimed area that is planned as an eclectic mix of residential and commercial developments.

SSH has recently won a string of infrastructure projects in Bahrain following the mobilisation of an infrastructure team there.

"This award is a clear vote of confidence in our local capability and our in-depth understanding of the requirements of the Kingdom of Bahrain and it’s Ministries" said Mark Jamieson, Infrastructure Director at SSH.
