The 95-storey building, which will be part of a number of towers in the One Yonge development designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects for Pinnacle International, a Canadian developer specialising in luxury condos.
The first phase of the scheme, completed in 2018, was a 65-storey residential tower containing 497 condos; the second phase will add the Sky Tower, with its 800 condos.
Two later stages of the project will add an 80-storey tower and three other buildings, including a 12-storey addition to the Toronto Star building.
