Balfour Beatty wins $700m US Army Corps of Engineers contract

UK contractor Balfour Beatty has won a $698m design-and-build contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers for a structure in Fort Meade, Maryland.

Balfour will work on East Campus Building #4, as well as a 1,200,000 sq ft parking structure on the base.

Work is due to be completed in spring 2026.

Fort Meade accommodates the headquarters of the National Security Agency, the US Cyber Command, the Defence Courier Service and Defence Information Systems Agency headquarters.
